State Bank of India invites job application for 11000 clerks. Willing candidates can apply for the job posts online from 1st August to 15th September 2009.

Applying process: candidates should pay the amount of fees in SBI CBS branch and have to receive Branch Code Number and unique deposit journal number. Now you have to register on SBI to apply online and have to fill correctly depositing Branch Code. You can apply online for the job of clerk in SBI at: http://registration.sifyitest.com/sbi/. Application fees for SC / ST / PWD / XS require Rs. 50 only for others it would be Rs. 250. Only online application will be considered valid. For the job post age should be 18 years minimum and 28 years maximum as on 1st October, 2009.

Recruitment process: written examination will be held in two schedules – 8th and 15th November, 2009. Written tests will contain objective types of questions - general awareness, general English, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability and marketing aptitude or computer knowledge. Negative marking is applicable. 1/4th will be deducted for each wrong answer. 40% mark should obtain for general candidates. Interview will be final stage for the selection of the job.
