Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) conducts a Common Entrance Test (PACET) for admission into 5 year B.Arch., 4 year B. Planning and 6year B.Arch.(PTDC) and other related courses. 6-Year Part Time Degree Course (PTDC) is for Diploma holders in Architecture with 2 years of experience as architectural assistant. Eligibility Criteria of JNTU PACET 2010
The candidate must be clear pass in class 12th examination with a minimum of 50% marks.
The Students must be Indian and also belong to Andhra Pradesh.
The candidate should not more than 16 year of age.
Exam Pattern of JNTU PACET 2010
Exam Pattern of the JNTU PACET 2010 is given below:
The examination will be divided into 2 parts
Test 1: drawing – duration 2 hours
Test 2: Aesthetic Sensitivity Test – duration 2 hours
The tests are computer based
The question paper will be in “English” only.
Syllabus for JNTU PACET 2010
Students seeking admission to 5 year B. Arch degree / 6 year B. Arch (PTDC) shall take Part – A of the Test and candidates seeking admission to 4 year B. Plan degree shall take Part-B of the Test.
Test-I - Aesthetic Sensitivity - 100 Marks Duration of Test - 2 Hours
Test-II Drawing- 100 Marks Duration of Test - 2 Hours
